Nike Zoom Lebron VI - The Lebrons - Business

Posted by: Staff on October 21st 2008

The series of characters that started with the Zoom Lebron III’s has now made its way back to Lebrons 6th signature shoe.  Lebron James, who entered the league at such a young age has immediately made an impact on both his team and the NBA at large.  With the overwhelming responsibility that Lebron has to endure it is common to see his many different sides.  These 4 characters Business, Kid, Atlete, Wise all illuminate the very different dimensions that Lebron has to display at different times.  The Business side of Lebron is mostly scene his huge endorsement deals.  As you can see on the shoe, the pinstripes and colorway match very well with the attire that you might find walkin down Manhattans 5th St.  The other 3 from this collection will be mentioned shortly after this post.  Each of these shoes will be limited to 150 Pairs Worldwide and will only be released locally at these six loactions.  House of Hoops Harlem, House of Hoops Los Angeles, Niketown Los Angeles, Sportsland (Chicago), Shoe Gallery (Miami, Next(Cleveland).  Each of these stores have been reported to carry 25 Pair per each colorway.

The Nike Zoom Flight makes its way back on the shelves in another colorway. Some think Nike is making a push for the Zoom Flight 95 which was Jason Kidds signature shoe, before Kidd’s new sponsor Chinese brand Peak releases a newer version later for him this year. This colorway comes in a Obsidian upper and white accents along the sole. These shoes are available now at LTD Online. We dont think there will be another release of the 95 Zoom Flight for at least a good while, get them while you can.

Nike Air Max 97 Pack

Posted by: Staff on August 3rd 2008

The clean lines of the Nike Air Max 97 have made it a favorite among many sneakerheads. Something about that 3M Reflective material and the white trim just makes it an instant classic. When it first released it was definitely one of its kind. Using a reflective material on almost all parts of the shoe, the only areas where you wont find it is along the sole and the extra large Nike Air Bubble. The original Air Max 97 has be retro’d several times over the years, and once again it will make its way to the shelves of select Nike retailers. For many of those who have fell in love with this shoe and wore it past its lifetime, heres another chance to grab a brand new pair and do it all again. Along with the re-release, Nike has taken the idea behind the Original Air Max 97 and slapped it on their Air Force 1 low top sneaker. Using the same 3M material to cover the toe box and heels, you will also find that the strap on the tongues and the little pulley on the back remain true to the classic 97’s. Both will be avaialble soon, LA heads can get them over at

Nike Air Max Beijing Collection

Posted by: Staff on July 31st 2008

Here’s a detailed look at the up and coming Air Max Beijing Pack for this years Summer Olympics held in Beijing China.  The 2008 Summer Games has definitely seen a good amount of collections and packs from various shoe companies around the world.  Winning Gold is one of the most prestigious accomplishments any athlete can obtain throughout their career , achieving this honor solidifies your career as a true World Class athlete.   At a time when westernization is becoming more wide spread it only makes sense for Nike and other brands to capitalize on this monumental event to gain market share by releasing Olympic themed shoes.  In addition to their previously Olympic themed sneakers Nike will be releasing a special Air Max Beijing pack for the pleasures of sneakerheads around the world.  To start off, Air Max’s in this pack have little bits of details that are inspired by the giant stadium built for the Olympics.  The stadium which in itself is a piece of art is know as the Birds Nest, featuring towering metal beams weaving in and out from the entire top portion of the structure.  Looking like a buiding before its time, the project took an immense amount of planning to be completed.  Designing shoes may not be on that grand scale, but you can still notice the details that were taken to make sure that there were some references to the Birds Nest Stadium, For instance, check out the lined patterns on the Air Max ones, designed to resemble portions of the stadium, as well as the Purple Air Max 1’s which also uses a octagon shape which is said to represent the eight sides of the stadium.  Other details are apparent throughout the designs, but all share 1 key similarity - the outer parts of each of the Air Max 1’s use a conventional, muted color, but once you look inside you begin to see a much brighter, vibrant color.  Perhaps this can be the people that are sitting inside the stadium cheering for their countries atheletes.  This collection will be available on the start of the Summer Olympic games starting August 8th at select Nike Retailers.
