Vans SK8-Hi Checkerboard
Stick to what works. Vans has released their popular SK8 HI model in what seems to be a new Orange checkerboard color way. Slated to release this for this Spring/Summer Season, you can add to your Vans SK8-HI checkerboard collection with the new releases. These models will be released in the majority of Vans Retailers.
Nike Blazer X DQM Preview
Another round of ‘collabos’ this time Chris Keeffe from Daves Quality Meat and Nike brings us a new look at the Nike Blazer. Snippets of the sample were shown on Chris’s blog and as far as we can tell there are two color ways - one purple, one black, both sexy and use the pebble leather pattern. Not much else was revealed but were sure more news will follow in the days ahead. Stay tuned if your a Nike Blazer or DQM fan.
Nike Dunk Low - Liberty Fabric Pack
In continuation to the Liberty Fabric Pack created for women, Nike will be releasing two more Nike Dunks for the women using the floral pattern that Nike Purchased from Liberty Fabric Company based in England. The two new Nike Dunks will both come in the Lo version, one in a yellow and white color way and one in a red and white color way. As you can see, the yellow pair uses the floral print on the exteriors of the shoe, while the red pair uses it as a pattern for the inner lining. Rockwell x Patta x Alife “RAP” Everybody Mid
New Yorks very own Alife has collaborated on their Everybody Mid model with friends from Rockwell and Patta. Titled the “Rap” an acronym from the three collaborators - the shoe is made in very patriotic colors. Patriotic to the USA that is for our foreign readers. Red White and Blue, the only colors seen on this new collab and its perfect for the July 4th Holiday weekend as well as supporting US athletes for this summers Olympics in Beijing. Set to be released this April 29th at Patta Amsterdam and May 3rd at Alife NYC/LA/Vancouver.
Puma First Round HI X Santa Cruz
The late eighties was a rampant time for artists and skate culture to evolve and breakthrough. During this time many artists involved in the skate culture made a name for themselves through promotional art. Among them are Jim Phillips, the man who designed the classic “Screaming Hand”. During this time shoe companies were thriving off a new niche in the market, skaters. Puma had capitalized on this new opening by creating their First Round model - a shoe made for skaters. As a tribute to the past, Puma will be releasing their First Round model shoe inspired by Jim Phillips “Screaming Hand”. With the shoe comes a matching tee and 4 different colored laces. There has been no set date for release just yet.
Vans SK8-HI X Supreme X Bad Brains
Formed in the late 70’s Bad Brain was a new band that took Punk music by storm. Self proclaimed as a Hardcore Punk Band, the sounds of Bad Brains was played faster and more emphatically than their peers. Vans and Supreme have gotten together to make a series of goods to commemorate this musical pioneer. One of these goods are from Vans Shoe the Vans SK8-HI. They will debut this April 24 at Supremes NY and LA locations and Japan will get the release on April 26th at the Daikanyama and Harajuku stores while Osaka and Fukuok will get them on the 27th.
Nike Air Yeezy - Kanye West
Famous Chicago rapper Kanye West was first spotted in a pair of unidentified Nikes during his performance at the Grammys earlier this year. There has now been a confirmation - the shoe which is a collaboration between Nike and Kanye West is titled “Air Yeezy”. Since the first sighting the shoes has received tons of hype from sneakerheads all over the world. These new shots of his Air Yeezy shoes can be seen with a glow in the dark Nike Swoosh. A perfect compliment for his recent Tour, titled “Glow in the Dark”. Kanye has announced that the shoes will hit retails stores but only left it at that. There are no set release dates or prices so it is left to our imagination. More images and news once we get it.
Air Jordan Fusion V (5) - White - Varsity Red - Blue Ribbon
The most refreshing of the Air Jordan Fusion 5 will have to be this new White, Varsity Red, Blue Ribbon colorway. Almost like the Black version which came out recently, this comes just in time for the Olympics which will begin this summer in Beijing. A perfect way to pay tribute to our country’s athletes in style. Jordan Brand is set to release a total of 10 different Air Jordan Fusion 5’s. This will be one of the 10 that will release between April and June. Keep your eyes open for the new fusions to hit the select Nike Stores.
Reebok Reverse Jam - Monopoly Pack
Among the recent packs that Reebok’s worked on, the Monopoly pack is easily the most intricate. From the design cues taken directly from the board game, to the Monopoly lace locks, and the novelty laces found on the “Board” model; the pack is an accurate representation of the classic family pastime. The pack is scheduled to release later this year with each model priced at $84.99. But remember to bring real cash cause Monopoly money ain’t gonna cut it.

Nike Court Force and Air Raid - Urban Jungle Pack
Bringing back the retros once again, Nike will release their Court Force and Air Raid Models in the old African Tribal Print that were released in the early 90’s. The Air Raids were among one of the first shoes made with criss crossing straps for better support on the hardwood. They were also worn by NBA legend Tim “Killer Crossover” Hardaway, the owner and probably the pioneer of the crossover move. Both of these will release in June for under $100
