Since the inception of the signature Air Jordan line, Nike has always made it a point to be the leader in combining functionality with aesthetics. Each of the 23 shoes in the series has been meticulously engineered to provide a competitive edge for Mike on the hardwood floors - combined with innovative styles, each shoe stood out on its own with a unique flavor and identity. Perfecting the art of creating a functional lifestyle brand, Jordan Brand has been looking for various sub-cultures to capture in the same approach it took with their Air Jordan Collection. Among these are street/skate sub-culture. Bringing in its new model is the Jordan Brand “PHLY”, a shoe that took inspiration from the Air Jordan III and does have some keen resemblance to the Converse Chuck Taylors. The shoe will make its way into 10 stores before its release more widely this summer. You can get them today at Philadelphia’s Ubiq for $85 USD
